Fun run in children's fancy dress 21st Nov 2008

Children's fancy dress is the order of the day for the pupils at Pinders Primary School in Wakefield this week.
The kids and their teaches will be dressing up in Christmas-themed costumes for the second 2.5km festive fun run around Pugneys Country Park, according to the Wakefield Express.
Antlers, Santa hats and all manner of jolly costumes will be donned for the run, which aims to raise money for the Wakefield Hospice.
Dubbed the Reindeer Run, the event is now in its second year, and prizes are up for grabs for the best costumes.
The children have already managed to raise over £150 for the good cause, the newspaper reports, and are looking forward to the run after the smashing time they had last year.
Helen Rowlands, event fundraiser, was quoted as saying: "Last year it was pouring with rain on the day but a lot of pupils and teachers from the school still came along in their fancy dress costumes and had a really good day."
Earlier this week, children got into the spirit of fancy dress to celebrate characters from their favourite books at a village school in Church Fenton, the Wetherby News reports.
