Children's fancy dress was the order of the day as youngsters across Sussex ran fundraising events for Children in Need.
The events took place on Friday (November 14th) and people produced a series of imaginative, interesting ways to raise cash.
Young ones at the Toy Box nursery in Queen Victoria Hospital made cakes for hospital staff; had a children's fancy dress parade; and hosted a colouring competition that succeeded in raising around £90.
Meanwhile, six junior netball teams got into the spirit of things as they took part in a fancy dress tournament in Portsmouth and were successful in raising around £500.
A Best Beautiful Day at Copthorne Junior school saw pupils make an extra effort and come dressed up in catwalk-style clothes.
The fancy dress themed day was a success and managed to raise £250 for Children in Need.
BBC1's Children in Need telethon attracted over 11 million viewers at its peak, which was over three times the number of people watching ITV1's Taggart, the Guardian reports.
