Children's fancy dress sees Harry Potter and Snow White appear at school 17th Nov 2008

Youngsters got into childrens fancy dress costumes to help celebrate everything they love about reading, the Wetherby News reported.
A village school in Church Fenton was the venue for the celebrations and there was a whole week of book-related activities to get children enthused about reading.
Children and their teachers even dressed up as their favourite book character and Harry Potter, Snow White, Oliver Twist and Rupert Bear were just a few of the famous literary creations who came through the school gates.
There was even more fun as Maltese childrens author Saviour Pirotta turned up at the school.
Judith Mawson, spokeswoman for the school, said: "Saviour went down really well with the children. They were captivated by his folk law stories from Malta."
The children were gripped by tales of pirates, princesses and even exploding toilets and Ms Mawson said it was "fascinating".
Saviour Pirotta was born in Malta in 1958 and move to England in 1982 where he established himself as a childrens author specialising in retelling classical myths and folk tales.
