Children in Need children's fancy dress 17th Nov 2008
Youngsters got into the charity spirit as they wore childrens fancy dress to help support those less fortunate than themselves, the Gazette Herald reports.
Terrington Hall School was the venue for the Children in Need event on Friday (November 14th) as they all got dressed up in their pyjamas.
Helen Torlesse who works at the school said that she thought a pyjama theme would be perfect as it was easy for the children to put together and they wouldnt need to buy additional outfits.
Ms Torlesse explained that they talked about Children in Africa and also spoke about a school in Nepal that Terrington Hall School had donated money to.
She explained: "We also discussed the school in Nepal, which our school has recently donated to, where children have to walk for up to two-and-a-half hours to get to school.
"I think it really caught their imagination."
In related news, children from Portishead Primary School created their own costumes for Children in Need and donated their change to a Pennies for Pudsey appeal, Thisisbristol.co.uk reports.
