Children's fancy dress and half-term fun 3rd Oct 2008
Scotland will be hosting lots of activities to entertain youngsters during the half-term break including children's fancy dress parades, drawing and fashion accessory design, allmediascotland.com reported.
In addition to the children's fancy dress, there will be activities at the Forth's Timeline project museums, galleries and historic buildings.
Organised by Historic Scotland, kids will be able to go free to Castle Campbell and Garden which is part of the Clackmannanshire Tower Trail.
Visitors to Stirling Castle will also be able to enter free and will be given access to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental Museum.
Alloa Tower will be the venue for children's art and craft activities. Through October children will also be encouraged to draw as part of a national campaign throughout the UK.
Stirling Smith art gallery and museum will be giving children the chance to replicate the stirling heads which were a series of portraits carved from oak around 1540 for King James V.
