Autumn fair with children's fancy dress 2nd Oct 2008
As winter draws in some parents and youngsters may be wondering what events they can take part in to brighten up the colder days and Purley may have the answer with a children's fancy dress competition.
Thisiscroydontoday.co.uk announced Purley's autumn fair due to take place on Saturday (October 4th) at St Swithun's Church between 10am and 2pm.
The website reported that the organisers had promised there would be "an exciting blend" of stalls that had been popular at previous fairs and new attractions to get the adults and children involved.
In addition to the children's fancy dress competition, there will be a line dancing display in the morning.
A photographic competition will take place during the day and the results will be announced at 12.30pm.
Finally, everyone who has made the effort to attend the autumn fair will be able to enjoy the youth choir who will be performing a concert at 1pm.
