Dragon's Den presenter helps at fancy dress fundraiser 29th Sep 2008
A member of the Dragon's Den team is to join 200 black cab drivers from Glasgow in a bid to raise money for disabled children, the Sunday Mail has reported.
According to the website, Duncan Bannatyne, who used to be a cabbie, offered to join forces with other taxi drivers to raise money for the event.
It wasn't children's fancy dress though. The adults were the ones who were asked to don outfits and decorate their cars to help the big day go with a bang.
Mr Bannatyne said he was moved to take action and help the Glasgow Taxi Outing day, after he met organisers of the events at an awards do.
Commenting on his decision to take part in the event, Mr Bannatyne said: "My wife Joanne and I are looking forward to being part of the day. It will be a great experience and, from what I hear, a lot of fun for the children and fundraisers alike."
He explained that he was "more than happy" to support the event and raise money for the children.
