School celebrates 12th year with children's fancy dress 3rd Sep 2008
A school has celebrated its 12th year of service with a week that was packed full of fun, games and activities, as well as children's fancy dress.
Guests and pupils at Fairfield Heights Childcare and Preschool in Australia enjoyed various fun games throughout the day.
Local paper, Fairfield City Champion, reported that in addition to the children's fancy dress there was face painting, a bouncy castle and a clown.
Commenting on the day's festivities, school director Pina Sergi said: ''We would like to thank everyone involved in making our birthday a great success and would also like to thank current parents as well as all past parents for entrusting us to care for their most precious children."
The paper reported that the "sounds of children's laughter could be heard throughout the week" as the celebrations went on.
A charity event that is set to take place in Burpham, Surrey on Sunday (September 7th) will also no doubt have a carnival atmosphere.
Children will be able to enjoy bouncy castles, a tombola and face-painting.
