Children in Wokingham are set to win a number of prizes and learn about the town's history as part of Heritage Week.
A number of events, including a children's fancy dress competition, will take place from September 8th to September 14th, reports getwokingham.co.uk.
Wokingham Town Council and the Wokingham Society are working in conjunction to stage the events and competitions.
The first activity is the Spot the Victorian Object competition where children are asked to hunt around the town's shops to see if they can find the hidden items.
The Victorian fancy dress competition will be held at an open day at Wokingham Town Hall in Market place on the final day of the carnival.
A quiz will also be held at the town hall, with several local activity centres for children donating prizes for the event.
Other activities include a Victorian market, a set of stocks in the town centre, a Punch and Judy show and a range of tours around the area.
A full programme with details of the Heritage Day activities is available from Wokingham Town Council.
