Members of Rainbow groups in Wragby and north Lincolnshire enjoyed a princess fancy dress birthday party recently.
The Horncastle News reported that the two organisations met up at St Luke's County House in Holton Le Moor to enjoy a day of wearing either a fairy dress or a princess dress.
Despite bad weather, all the girls had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the event, which was organised to mark the Rainbows 21st birthday, the newspaper claimed.
Following the fairy/princess fancy dress themed day, the Wragby Rainbows will attend the Poacher International Camp at the Lincolnshire Showground on July 27th.
The newspaper added that the girls are also planning a new themed event - the Wragby Rainbows Olympics - to celebrate the forthcoming Beijing Games.
Last year, the Rainbow group ended the Christmas term with a party at Rand Farm Park, reported the Market Rasen Mail.
They visited all the animals and the Christmas nativity scene before a picnic tea and a meeting with Santa.
