Workers in Swindon may have been surprised to see somebody in a Christmas fairy dress, accompanied by a reindeer yesterday (June 25th).
The Swindon Advertiser reports that sales firm Carpeo decided to hold its Christmas party six months early this year as a morale-boosting exercise.
Complete with decorations, pass the parcel and a Christmas dinner, the team all embraced the opportunity to wear fancy dress.
Team leader Kelly Surtees came up with the idea and told the newspaper: "We need to do incentive days because it always gets better sales. I think everyone enjoys Christmas and it's always a bit of fun."
Meanwhile, the odd fairy dress was seen in Peterborough yesterday as thousands of women took part in Cancer Research UK's Race For Life.
Many dressed as pink fairies, a number of the women ran in memory of people they have lost to cancer, reports the Peterborough Today.
