Bears put on their best for a picnic 10th Jun 2008

Children in Hastings are being asked to bring their favourite teddy, perhaps a fairy bear, to Princes Park for a picnic.
On Sunday June 29th, Save the DGH (District General Hospital) is staging a teddy bears' picnic between 12:00 BST and 16:00 BST for children, reported local paper the Hastings Observer.
Little ones can bring down their teddy and enter it in the Best Dressed Bear competition, with a top prize of either a £150 pushchair or a beach hut for a week in Eastbourne.
The picnic has been organised in memory of the daughter of DGH Campaign secretary Monica Corrina-Kavakli, who died at birth.
"Ella's death was tragic, however it would have taken a miracle to save her," said Ms Corrina-Kavakli. "Our consultant and the entire team at the DGH became our extended family and helped us learn to cope with our loss."
The government recently announced that controversial proposed changes to the DGH will be under review until mid-June.
