Diss has a new queen in town, following the crowning of a beautiful 18-year-old from the region.
A-level student Charlotte Cox will take to the throne at the town's carnival next month, reports the Diss Express.
No stranger to performance, she studies drama along with history and classics at Diss High School.
She entered the competition following encouragement from her mum, who thought it might improve her daughter's confidence on the stage.
And the excited teenager will even be kitted out in a specially made dress fit for royalty, designed by Tracy Soar at Mystique Couture.
Charlotte will look every inch a queen as she takes pride of place at the celebration on June 21st.
Tracy said: "I think she needs an imposing gown in a theatrical style. Pink is always a good colour and this material adds sparkle as well."
Locals will be able to take part in a host of activities at the weekend event, which will culminate in a fantastic parade with dozens of floats taking to the town centre.
