The latest initiative to raise money for schoolgirl Jessica Knight saw people dressed as fairies and in other fancy dress as part of a charity fun-run.
Residents of Chorley flocked to Astley Hall to take place in the Jessica Golden Mile event, organised by Sarah Stainton, reported the Chorley Guardian.
Her mum Anne Naylor said that the day was "a really good laugh", adding: "Some girls wore fairy wings and others wore really colourful clothes and stripy socks."
Under-12 race winners were awarded with free passes to Blackpool Tower and the Sealife Centre.
Jessica's Fund, supported by the local paper, has so far raised over £10,000 since the 14-year-old was attacked, with a huge number of donations and events taking place throughout the area, with lots of celebrities getting involved.
She has been recovering in hospital, where she woke up to a visiting Geri Haliwell singing to her.
A charity auction for Jessica taking place this week offers lucky bidders the chance to win a walk-on part in Hollyoaks, clothes worn by stars from Coronation Street and signed football shirts from Bolton Wanderers, Everton and Blackburn Rovers.
